Tec-9 | Sultan was added to CS2 on July 8, 2026, in the Arabesque, Tech, Fruits & Racing update. It was made by the community designer apel8 and released as part of The Arabesque Collection, rather than through a case-based drop.
Designer
Tec-9 | Sultan comes from apel8, a workshop artist known for creating visually distinctive CS skins. The designer’s portfolio also includes M4A1-S | Nightmare and AK-47 | Legion of Anubis, which gives Sultan an additional connection to other recognizable community-made finishes.
Pattern and Skin Features
Tec-9 | Sultan uses a Gunsmith-style finish that combines patina elements with custom paint on the new CS2 model. Pattern indexes do not change the artwork, so every copy keeps the same composition and there is no separate best pattern to search for. The skin is defined by an ornate mosaic-inspired design with turquoise, deep blue, white, and gold-toned sections.
