Five-SeveN | Desert Seal Description
Release History
Five-SeveN | Desert Seal arrived in CS2 on July 8, 2026, alongside the Arabesque, Tech, Fruits & Racing update. Designed by Bunny_Bananya, it joined The Arabesque Collection as one of the new pistol finishes introduced with that content release.
Designer
Desert Seal was created by the community artist Bunny_Bananya. The design gives the Five-SeveN a more stylized and polished appearance while keeping the weapon recognizable, adding a fresh visual option to the expanding CS2 workshop lineup.
Pattern and Skin Features
Five-SeveN | Desert Seal uses a Gunsmith finish that blends patina treatment with custom-painted details on the new CS2 model. Pattern indexes do not change the artwork, so the design remains visually consistent and there is no special best pattern variant to search for. Its purple-toned color scheme gives the pistol a distinctive look compared with more traditional desert-inspired finishes. The combination of a refined surface treatment and a fixed decorative layout makes Desert Seal feel clean, modern, and easy to recognize in-game.
Float Range
Five-SeveN | Desert Seal covers the complete 0.00 to 1.00 float interval and is therefore available in every exterior condition. Souvenir editions are also available for all five wear levels. Factory New keeps the purple finish at its clearest and preserves the smoothest overall presentation. Higher-wear versions provide a more weathered appearance, giving players several visual and price options without changing the underlying artwork.
Drop Rate and Chance
Five-SeveN | Desert Seal is not obtained by opening a conventional CS2 case. It is accessed through the Armory, where players spend Armory Credits on rewards from The Arabesque Collection. As an Industrial Grade item, it belongs to one of the more frequently obtainable reward groups. The relatively accessible odds make it easier to receive than the collection’s Mil-Spec, Restricted, Classified, and Covert finishes.
Gameplay and Notable Players
Being a brand-new drop, Five-SeveN | Desert Seal has not shown up in serious play so far. The Five-SeveN is a CT force-buy pick, so its exposure will be moderate and round-dependent. Right now it is collectors and pattern hunters paying the most attention.
Rarity
Desert Seal has Industrial Grade rarity, placing it near the more common end of the CS2 item hierarchy. It is one of 448 pistol skins in the game and is intended to be more broadly available than premium collection rewards. Because scarcity is not its main selling point, its appeal is more closely connected to the purple color scheme, condition, and player interest in new Arabesque-themed items.
Popularity
With a 58% popularity rating, Five-SeveN | Desert Seal places in the top 42% of items in CS2. Both turnover and price feed into that number.
