Release History
Nova | Smart Gun was introduced to CS2 on July 8, 2026, with the Arabesque, Tech, Fruits & Racing update. Created by SerQ, it joined The Spy Tech Collection as a futuristic shotgun finish designed around a more colorful technology-inspired concept.
Designer
Smart Gun was made by the community designer SerQ. Instead of giving the Nova a conventional military appearance, the artist used a brighter sci-fi direction that makes the weapon feel more like an experimental piece of equipment from a high-tech arsenal.
Pattern and Skin Features
Nova | Smart Gun uses a Gunsmith finish, combining patina treatment with custom-painted details on the new CS2 model. Pattern indexes do not change the artwork, so every copy keeps the same arrangement and there is no rare seed or separate best pattern. Purple and pink form the main color palette, giving the shotgun a vivid electronic look. The contrast between these tones helps the design stand out while supporting the “Smart Gun” theme with a cleaner, more futuristic visual style.
Float Range
Nova | Smart Gun can appear with any float value from 0.00 to 1.00, which means all exterior conditions are available. Souvenir versions also exist for every wear level. Factory New keeps the purple and pink sections at their brightest and preserves the cleanest surface. Higher-float copies become more worn and subdued, offering a rougher interpretation of the same fixed design.
Drop Rate and Chance
Nova | Smart Gun is not obtained by opening a standard CS2 case. It is available through the Armory, where players spend Armory Credits to receive items from The Spy Tech Collection.
