Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol Description
Release History
Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol was introduced to CS2 on July 8, 2026, through the Arabesque, Tech, Fruits & Racing update. Designed by Graff, it joined The Spy Tech Collection as one of the release’s headline pistol finishes.
Designer
Ghost Protocol was created by the community artist Graff. The skin gives the Glock-18 a sleek covert-tech identity, using a bold red color direction and a highly customized layout to separate it from more traditional military-themed finishes.
Pattern and Skin Features
Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol uses a Custom Paint Job finish, allowing detailed artwork to be applied across the new CS2 model. Its pattern index does not change the design, so all copies keep the same composition and there is no rare seed or unique best pattern. Red is the dominant color, reinforcing the skin’s high-alert, intelligence-themed appearance. The fixed artwork keeps the visual identity consistent, while wear condition determines how sharp and clean the finish appears in-game.
Float Range
Ghost Protocol has a float range from 0.00 to 0.90 and is available in every exterior condition. Souvenir versions also exist for each wear level. Factory New gives the design its cleanest presentation, preserving the strongest red tones and the clearest painted details. More worn copies develop a rougher surface, but the main artwork remains recognizable because the layout itself does not change.
Drop Rate and Chance
Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol is not obtained from a regular weapon case. Instead, it is available through the Armory, where players use Armory Credits to receive rewards from The Spy Tech Collection. Its estimated chance is only 0.64%, making it one of the least likely outcomes in the collection. Most Armory rewards will appear much more often, which makes successfully receiving Ghost Protocol a notably rare result.
Gameplay and Notable Players
Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol has only just entered CS2, so it has no established competitive history yet. The Glock-18 is the default T pistol-round sidearm, giving the finish natural exposure in opening rounds. So far the attention comes from Armory openers and Glock-18 enthusiasts.
Rarity
Ghost Protocol carries Covert rarity, placing it at the highest tier used for regular weapon finishes in CS2. Among 448 pistol skins, it occupies a premium category intended for the most exclusive collection rewards. Its value is supported by both the popularity of the Glock-18 and the difficulty of obtaining a Covert item. This combination gives the skin strong appeal among collectors, traders, and players looking for a flagship pistol finish.
Popularity
Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol is already one of the most popular items in CS2, holding a 97% popularity rating. It is a rough read on how actively the finish trades and what it costs.
