MAC-10 | Video Cam arrived in CS2 on July 8, 2026, as part of the Arabesque, Tech, Fruits & Racing update. Created by kr1zer, it was added to The Spy Tech Collection as a compact SMG finish built around a surveillance-inspired concept.
Designer
Video Cam was designed by the community artist kr1zer. The idea turns the MAC-10 into a piece of recording equipment, using the weapon’s boxy shape to support a more playful take on the collection’s espionage and monitoring theme.
Pattern and Skin Features
MAC-10 | Video Cam uses a Gunsmith finish, combining patina-based surface treatment with custom-painted details on the new CS2 model. Pattern indexes do not affect the artwork, so the design appears in the same arrangement on every copy. There is no rare seed or separate best pattern to compare. The mostly gray palette gives the weapon an equipment-like appearance, while the camera-inspired styling provides the main visual distinction.
Float Range
Video Cam can have any float value from 0.00 to 1.00, making all five exterior conditions available. Souvenir versions also exist in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred condition. Low-float copies retain the cleanest gray surfaces and make the smaller custom-painted details easier to see. Increased wear gives the skin a more rugged look, similar to a camera that has been used during field operations.
Drop Rate and Chance
MAC-10 | Video Cam is not acquired through the traditional case-opening system. Instead, players can obtain it from The Spy Tech Collection through the Armory by spending Armory Credits. As an Industrial Grade reward, it is expected to appear relatively often compared with the collection’s higher-tier items. This makes Video Cam one of the more accessible results when using credits on Spy Tech rewards.
